Spectacular cakes....not only the best tasting, but Gina is an absolute magician and artistwhen it comes to creating and decorating. The prices are also quite reasonable given the incredible quality. My Grandpa's Store is the best kept secre in town!!
Wonderful and pretty cake! I ordered a carrot cake for a small garden wedding. It was elegant and delicious! The dough was moist and flavorful, the frosting was not overly sweet. The design was just what I envisioned. I highly recommend ordering a cake from My Grandpa's Store.

Gina is the absolute BEST! She made cakes for our twins for their 6th bday. They requested some elaborate pokemon cakes that they found online and I figured they would be nearly impossible to recreate. I reached out to Gina, she was super responsive and helpful. I sent her some pics and she literally recreated their dream cakes with no issue. They were reasonably priced and they were delicious! Wish I would’ve known about this place sooner. Highly highly recommend, thanks Gina!
I worked with Gina for a Baby Shower cake...she designed the cake to coordinate with the design and color palette of the invitations....amazing!
The Grandpa for which this store is named was Hank Morello, owner and operator of Hank's Candy Store during my childhood days. Ogden grade school is located right across the street and a Catholic grade school is kiddy-corner to the store as well. Hundreds of kids used to mob this store daily when I went through grades 1-6 at Ogden. In fact, as a young paper route guy I used to stop in every single morning and tank up on glazed donuts and other sugary delights.
Gina did an amazing job for us today. Her cake and cookies were not only delicious but she worked with me to make sure everything was just as I imagined it.
Gina was quick, responsive upon request. I showed her the picture of the cake/cookies I wanted for my daughter’s birthday and she executed perfectly! She also made hello kitty cookies that were adorable. Will be back for future birthdays. Also everything tasted amazing!
I ordered a cake from here for my wedding this month. Gina was a pleasure to work with, and she was super helpful in planning out my cake design. I gave her a picture of what I wanted, and the cake turned out even more beautiful than the picture! My guests and I were in awe. And it was delicious too! I can't recommend them enough!
